rigid axle link), it is reinforced and adjusted to handle extreme off-road conditions such as rocky terrain, muddy tracks, and uneven slopes. 

Common types tailored for off-road use include: 
1. Long-travel independent suspension: Features extended wheel stroke to climb over large obstacles. 
2. Double wishbone off-road suspension: Uses sturdy upper and lower control arms to withstand heavy impacts.

1. Coil Spring 
Supports the vehicle body mass, dampens vertical impact loads induced by road irregularities, and mitigates the amplitude of body oscillations. 
2. Shock Absorber (Damper) 
Damps the reciprocating oscillations of the spring post-compression/rebound, facilitatingrapid stabilization of the vehicle body and enhancing driving stability. 
3. Suspension Bracket / Control Arm 
Establishes a structural connection between the frame and wheels, transmits mechanical forces and moments, and constrains the wheel motion trajectory to ensure wheel alignment accuracy during vehicle operation. 
4. Brake Assembly (Brake Disc / Drum) 
Interfaces with brake shoes / calipers to convert vehicle kinetic energy into thermal energy via frictional force, enabling vehicle deceleration or stationary braking. 
5. Rubber Bushing / Seal Ring 
Isolates direct metal-to-metal friction between components to attenuate noise; additionally, it absorbs micro-vibrations to improve ride comfort. 
6. Fasteners (Bolts / Nuts) 
Secures the connections between components, maintains the structural strength and stability of the suspension system, and prevents component loosening during vehicle operation.
